Our story
Two decades of independent consulting
Global Consulting Engineers is a Melbourne-based consulting firm, with a second office in Schladming, Austria. We provide structural engineering design, documentation and drafting to the architectural, construction and building industries, and to the private and commercial property-development sectors, throughout Australasia and Europe.
Founded by Bernhard Waschl, GCE commenced operations in Australia in 2002. Bernhard completed his Masters in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering in his hometown of Vienna, Austria, and brings more than 18 years of experience across the structural and geotechnical industry — having worked in Australia, the Middle East and extensively throughout Europe.
GCE aims to be at the forefront of independent engineering consulting, and strives to consistently deliver innovative design and quality service to its clients. Whether it’s a commercial build, a house or an extension, we can help.
